How the pig sniffs
Every pump.fun launch passes under its snout, about one a second. It smells each one for:
- pair two words side by side in the name or the first line of the description
- word a single word from the name or ticker
- ticker the exact ticker. Many devs on one ticker is a clone wave
- $tag a cashtag in the description: coins pointing at another coin
- CA a real Solana address in the description: coins pairing with another coin
A smell becomes a truffle when 3 or more different dev wallets launch it within the hour and it's coming faster than its usual pace over the 6 hours before. ×7 means seven times its usual hourly pace. new means the pig hadn't smelled it in those 6 hours. Overlapping smells from the same coins count once, and one dev launching the same thing ten times counts once.
